Duality

Two lives we live,
One that we wish,
Other in which we rush.

We asked for one, we got two, yet we have none.

Two thoughts we have,
One with the love,
Other in which we lust.

We asked for one,  we got two,  yet we have none.

Two children we have,
One who are us,
Other whom the world laughs at.

We asked for one,  we got two,  yet we have none.

Two wealth we have,
One which helps,
Other with which we kill,

We asked for one,  we got two,  yet we have none.

Two souls we have,
One which lives,
Other which we sell.

We asked for one,  we got two,  yet we have none.

Two deaths we have,
One with smile,
Other that tears apart.

We never ask for it,  yet the only thing we have.
